NOTICE OF MEETING OF THE

GOVERNING BODY OF

DEKALB, TEXAS

 

 

Notice is hereby given that the regular meeting of the governing body of the City of De Kalb, Texas, will be held on Tuesday the 14th day of July 2026 at 6:30 p.m.  De Kalb City Hall 210 N Runnels, De Kalb, Texas 75559, at which time the following subjects will be discussed:

 

  1. Call to Order

  2. Invocation and Pledge

  3. Open Forum (limited to 3 minutes)

  4. Approve Minutes

  5. Payment of Bills

  6. Departmental Reports

 

  1. Discussion and possible to approve agreement with Round Table Network to provide IT for the Police Department.

 

  1. Discussion and possible action to adopt Texas state records retention policy for public service

 

  1. Discussion and possible action to adopt Texas state records retention policy for city documents

 

  1. Discussion and possible to approve Resolution 2026-012 authorizing submission of and application to the TWDB WSIG program for water system improvements

 

  1. Discussion and possible to approve Resolution 2026-013 authorizing signatory delegation for related components of the TWDB WSIG program

 

  1. EDC Report

  2. P&Z Report

  3. Mayoral Report

  4. Mayor and Council will retire to closed session pursuant to Government Code 551.074   Personnel/Legal Matters

 

  1. Adjourn

I, the undersigned authority, do hereby certify that the above Notice of Meeting of the governing body of De Kalb, Texas is a true and correct copy of said Notice and that I posted copy of said Notice on the bulletin board, in the City Hall of De Kalb, Texas; a place convenient and readily accessible to the general public at all times, and said Notice was posted July 08, 2026 by 5:00PM, and remained so posted continuously for at least 3 days preceding the scheduled time of said meeting.
