GOVERNING BODY OF

DEKALB, TEXAS

 

 

Notice is hereby given that the regular meeting of the governing body of the City of De Kalb, Texas, will be held on Tuesday the 13th day of October 2026 at 6:30 p.m.  De Kalb City Hall 210 N Runnels, De Kalb, Texas 75559, at which time the following subjects will be discussed:

 

  1. Call to Order

  2. Invocation and Pledge

  3. Open Forum (limited to 3 minutes)

  4. Payment of Bills

  5. Departmental Reports

  6. Discussion and possible action renew State Bank of De Kalb Loan 6764-175 City Hall

 

  1. Discussion and possible action renew State Bank of De Kalb Loan 6764-180 Line of credit

 

  1. Discussion and possible action to approve Elevated Storage Tank (TWDB Project No. 62958) construction contract in the amount of $372,450.50 to Cunningham Sandblasting & Painting Co.

 

  1. Discussion and possible action cast votes for at-large member city Riverbend board representative. 

 

  1. Discussion and possible action for a Temporary Use Permit Variance for 311 Church Street.

 

  1. Discussion and possible action to appoint Kevin Goulet to the EDC Board

 

  1. Discussion and possible action to use a consolidated cash system. All funds will be moved into General Fund except for the restricted accounts.

 

  1. Discussion and possible action to close Fulton Street from Church to Oak Street, Saturday October 31, 2026 3:00pm to 9pm for the annual community-wide fall celebration.

I, the undersigned authority, do hereby certify that the above Notice of Meeting of the governing body of De Kalb, Texas is a true and correct copy of said Notice and that I posted copy of said Notice on the bulletin board, in the City Hall of De Kalb, Texas; a place convenient and readily accessible to the general public at all times, and said Notice was posted October 07, 2026 by 5:00PM, and remained so posted continuously for at least 3 days preceding the scheduled time of said meeting.
