GOVERNING BODY OF

DEKALB, TEXAS

 

 

Notice is hereby given that the regular meeting of the governing body of the City of De Kalb, Texas, will be held on Tuesday the 14th day of April 2026 at 6:30 p.m.  De Kalb City Hall 210 N Runnels, De Kalb, Texas 75559, at which time the following subjects will be discussed:

 

  1. Call to Order

  2. Invocation and Pledge

  3. Open Forum (limited to 3 minutes)

  4. Approve Minutes

  5. Payment of Bills

  6. Departmental Reports

  7. Discussion and possible action to approve Howards Tree Service to remove dead tree in the City Park ($2,800.00)

  8. Discussion and possible action to approve Resolution 2026-004 authorizing signatories for GLO Resilient Communities Program grant CDBG-MIT 23-160-153-F583

  9. Discussion and possible action to approve Resolution 2026-005 adopting required CDBG Civil Rights policies. 

  10. Discussion and possible action to proclaim April as Fair Housing Month. This proclamation will help to fulfill Fair Housing activity obligations as required by the grant.

Notice is hereby given that the regular meeting of the governing body of the City of De Kalb Planning and Zoning Committee will be held on Friday the 17th day of April at 1:00 p.m. De Kalb City Hall 210 N Runnels, De Kalb, Texas 75559, at which time the following subjects will be discussed:
