NOTICE OF MEETING OF THE

GOVERNING BODY OF

DEKALB, TEXAS

 

 

Notice is hereby given that the regular meeting of the governing body of the City of De Kalb, Texas, will be held on Tuesday the 10th day of March 2026 at 6:30 p.m.  De Kalb City Hall 210 N Runnels, De Kalb, Texas 75559, at which time the following subjects will be discussed:

 

  1. Call to Order

  2. Invocation and Pledge

  3. Open Forum (limited to 3 minutes)

  4. Approve Minutes

  5. Payment of Bills

  6. Departmental Reports

  7. Discussion and possible action appoint an election Judge

  8. Discussion and possible action to approve settlement with Ozark Water concerning fire hydrant damage

  9. Discussion and possible action to issue a burn ban

  10. Discussion and possible action to approve resolution 2026-003 Transfer of property to De Kalb School District

  11. Discussion and possible action to approve agreement with TWU concerning above ground storage

  12. Mayoral Report

  13. EDC Report

  14. P&Z Report

  15. Mayor and Council will retire to closed session pursuant to Government Code 551.074   Personnel/Legal Matters

  16. Adjourn

I, the undersigned authority, do hereby certify that the above Notice of Meeting of the governing body of De Kalb, Texas is a true and correct copy of said Notice and that I posted copy of said Notice on the bulletin board, in the City Hall of De Kalb, Texas; a place convenient and readily accessible to the general public at all times, and said Notice was posted March 4, 2026 by 5:00PM, and remained so posted continuously for at least 3 days preceding the scheduled time of said meeting.
