Small Taxing Unit Notice

The City of DeKalb will hold a meeting at 6:30 PM on September 2, 2025 at Dekalb City Council Room 210 N Runnels, De Kalb, TX 75559 to consider adopting a proposed tax rate for tax year 2025. The proposed tax rate is $0.448245

per $100 of value.

 

The proposed tax rate would increase total taxes in City of DeKalb by 3.51%. The 86th Texas Legislature modified the manner in which the voter-approval tax rate is calculated to limit the rate of growth of property taxes in the state.
