GOVERNING BODY OF

DEKALB, TEXAS

 

 

 

SPECIAL CALLED COUNCIL MEETING

 

The Governing Body of the City of De Kalb, Texas will meet in a Special Called Council Meeting, Thursday March 26, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. at De Kalb City Hall, 210 N Runnels, De Kalb, Texas, to consider and take official action on the following:

 

1. Call to Order

2. Open Forum

3. Presentation of the FY 2025 Audit

4. Discussion and possible action to approve the FY 2025 audit

5. Discussion and possible action to appoint Carol Thompson as the City Election Judge

6. Mayor and Council will retire to closed session pursuant to Government Code 551.074 Personnel/Legal Matters

7. Mayor and Council will return to Open Session to consider and take official action

8. Adjourn

 

NOTE: The Council reserves the right to retire into Executive Session concerning any of the items listed on this Agenda, whenever it is considered permissible under the Open Meetings Act.

 

I, the undersigned authority, do hereby certify that the above Notice of Meeting of the governing body of DeKalb, Texas is a true and correct copy of said Notice and that I posted a true and correct copy of said Notice on the bulletin board, at the City Hall of De Kalb, Texas, a place convenient and readily accessible to the general public at all times.  Said notice was posted on 03/18/2026 by 5pm at least 3 business days prior to meeting and remained so posted continuously for at least 72 hours preceding the scheduled time of said Meeting.
